Kinder-kids Program

Our kindergarten program for students ages 4-6 is full of inquiry, exploration, and discovery. At this stage, children are active and enthusiastic learners that focus on honing and expanding their skills and knowledge. The environment of our kindergarten program is sensory based via a creative and stimulating curriculum conducive to holistic development -where cognition, physical, emotional, social, and moral development results in general well-being.  The Kinder-Kids program is  a progressive and achievement-based stage motivated by the learner’s own development and accomplishments.

During this phase, children experience developmental integration in which they are organizing and combining various skills to perform challenging tasks and deciphering increasingly complex concepts. Children develop best as unique individuals when they understand and ask questions and express ideas about their immediate world. They learn to think logically, anticipate results, classify objects, and solve problems. They enjoy being challenged and motivated, and they love doing great projects to show the world what they have discovered.

A Constructivist Approach

The kindergarten curriculum integrates core subjects into an interdisciplinary program that enables learners to apply their knowledge to discover and thus understand their environment. The concepts and knowledge acquired are applied to solve problems in which the cognitive, intellectual, and emotional processes are used in real situations:

  • learning takes place in authentic settings;

  • learning gives rise to negotiation and social mediation;

  • content and skills are relevant to the student;

  • the content is understood within the framework of the student's prior knowledge through scaffolding;

  • learners understand how to self-regulate, self-mediate and be aware of their actions, their learning, knowledge, and progress;

  • the online program provides and encourages multiple perspectives and representations of content.
